A weekend gathering for women, women-identified, and non-binary individuals craving connection, creativity, and a relaxing escape into nature!
Get away for three days to be present, share meals, create art, move your body, step in front of the camera, and unwind around the campfire. This cozy campout is a space to rest, play, and show up fully as your authentic self, surrounded by an affirming group and the peacefulness of the outdoors!
We’ll be staying at a public campground nestled beside the Muskegon River and a charming little fish hatchery. Our reserved section is tucked into a quiet corner of the grounds, just a short walk from the river and nearby facilities, including indoor bathrooms and showers.
What’s Included:
– Two nights of lodging (shared tent or cabin bunk)
– All meals from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast
– Group activities (games, crafts, stargazing, etc.)
– Candid + posed group photos (optional)
– Yoga & grounding with Kayla (@resilientrootsyogallc)
– Craft supplies for rock painting and kandi making
– Parking pass for the weekend

Kayla has been teaching yoga for 8 years. At the upcoming getaway, she is excited to offer a session that not only focuses on yoga but also integrates affirmations and guided meditation. These elements are designed to enhance the experience, promoting inner peace and self-discovery. Join her as she cultivates a supportive space for healing, growth, and connection through the power of yoga and mindfulness!

Getaway + Individual Session - $500
The individual photo session includes up to 20 minutes of photo time and your choice of 5 images, delivered via an online gallery. You can choose to have your session by the creek, in the woods, or along the river. (I grew up here, so I know all the good spots!)
Limited to 8 spots: 3 cabin bunks, 5 tent sleepers!

DAY 1: Friday, September 5
1:00-3:00 PM - Camper check-in
3:00 PM - Guided tour of the campground and facilities
5:00 PM - Group swim / river hang
7:00 PM - Dinner (provided)
8:30 PM - Campfire, welcome, and introductions
10:00 PM - Stargazing and s’mores
DAY 2: Saturday, September 6
9:00 AM - Breakfast (provided)
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Gentle Yoga & Grounding with Kayla (@resilientrootsyogallc)
12:00 - 2:30 PM - Free time / crafts: rock painting, kandi making
2:30 PM - Picnic lunch (provided)
4:00 - 5:00 PM - Get ready for photos!
5:00 PM - Creekside Boudoir Sessions (group)
7:30 PM - Dinner
8:30 PM - Campfire games & music
10:00 PM - Moonlit walk & stargazing along the riverbank
DAY 3: Sunday, September 7
9:00 AM - Breakfast (provided)
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Pack-up & goodbyes
How it works:
Select your weekend pass and choose between a shared tent (provided) with 1–2 people, or one of the bunk beds in the tiny cabin (limited availability).
Once I receive your registration, you’ll get a welcome email with a direct link to an online waiver and be added to the FB message group for campers to get to know each other, ask questions, and start getting excited!
In the weeks leading up to camp, I’ll provide directions to the campground, a detailed itinerary, and carpool coordination, so you’ll feel prepped and ready!
What to bring:
– Bedding (sheets, blanket, pillow, etc.)
– Tent sleepers: something to sleep on (air mattress, cot, etc.)
– Small power strip or extension cord (if needed)
– Towel and toiletries
– Comfy clothes and layers (evenings may be chilly)
– Swimsuit and water shoes (recommended)
– Flashlight or headlamp
– Reusable water bottle
– Drinks and snacks (if you'd like extras)
– BYOB/BYOW
– Medications and personal essentials
– Bug spray and sunscreen
– Camping chair
– Yoga mat
– Journal, book, camera, etc.
Feel free to pack anything else that helps you feel comfy, cozy, or creative!
Must be 21 or older to attend.
Camp registration closes Friday, August 29.
You can reserve your spot with a 50% deposit; the remaining balance is due by August 29.
All payments are non-refundable but can be transferred as a session credit for use in 2025.
